Awards

Little Holland has won two awards since we opened in 2004.

In 2005 we won the 'Small business of the Year' award, which is given to a new business in the area which has shown dedication and innovation to its cause. By earning the award the business has shown a good mixture of everything which is important in running a business: customer care, management, product knowledge and everything else related to it.

In 2006 we were awarded with the 'Customer Care' award, which is given to a local company whose commitment to customer care provides added value. Companies who are prepared to go 'that extra mile' to ensure the customer is happy. For this category, you will need to demonstrate the support and appreciation of customers.

For PancakeDay 2009 we teamed up with SpiritFM and organised a little pancake toss competition on their website. On Shrove Tuesday the Spirit Team joined us in the restaurant for an early Pancake lunch (or breakfast for some) and had a call back into the studio, where our own Rob was interviewed by Kevin King live on the radio. It was quite an experience!

In September 2009 I Rob appeared on the radio again, but now on the Dutch World Radio Channel. In this interview he talked about the move to England, how the English people think about Dutch Pancakes and how life on the South Coast suits him. Little Holland appears in the newspaper and on the internet quite regularly. The funny thing is, sometimes we don't even know about it till someone tells us!
